Before the procedure, please keep these points in mind – 

• Avoid Alcohol and smoking for 24 hours
• Schedule the procedure at least two weeks before a special occasion or event.
• Avoid taking anti-inflammatory medication.
• Avoid treatment if you have active infections in the treatment area.
• Avoid using retinoid facial products for 2-3 days prior.
• You must wait two weeks between getting covid/having a vaccination and having Anti-wrinkle treatment. This is increased to 6 weeks if having a tetanus vaccination.

Post the procedure; please keep these points in mind – 

• Do not rub or touch the treated area until the following day.
• You should not lie down for the next 4-6 hours as you may inadvertently rub the treated areas.
• Avoid exposure to heat treatments such as sauna, hot tub or tanning for up to 48 hours.
• Paracetamol is recommended for any headaches or pain. Avoid medicines such as ibuprofen (Nurofen) or diclofenac (Voltaren) for the next 24 hours.
• There is a small risk of bruising. If this occurs, do not worry, as it is temporary, it’s generally minor and can easily be covered up with makeup. Hirudoid cream help reduce bruising.
• Your treatment will take 4-7 days to start working. It may take two weeks to see the full results. If, after two weeks, you feel that you still have more muscle movement than expected, then this can be adjusted at your post-injection assessment at an additional cost.

• Do not consume alcohol for 24 hours.
• Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours. 
• Avoid extended exposure to sun or UV light and extreme hot or cold temperatures, including hot drinks, if your lips have been treated. Avoid facial laser treatment to the treated area for up to four weeks.
• For cheek augmentation, it is recommended to avoid restrictive headwear, including goggles, sunglasses or motorcycle helmets, for up to four weeks.
• It is recommended to wait to apply makeup to the treatment area until 24 hours post-treatment.
• There will be some swelling and bruising, however, do not worry, as it will only be temporary. Arnica tablets or Hirudoid cream can help reduce bruising.
• You may feel lumps for up to 2 weeks as your body adjusts to the new volume. If you can see any lumps and have concerns, please contact us.

Before the procedure, please keep these points in mind – 

• Avoid excessive sun exposure/burns 24 hours prior to procedure.
• Avoid using retinoid facial products fo r24 hours prior.
• Schedule the procedure at least one to two weeks before a special occasion or event.
• Allow at least 24 hours after autoimmune therapies before a treatment.
• Wait six months following oral isotretinoin use.
• Avoid treatment if you have active infections in the treatment area.
• You must wait two weeks between having cosmetic injectables and microneedling.

Post the procedure; please keep these points in mind – 

• Do not rub or touch the treated area with unclean hands.
• Avoid strenuous exercise, sun or UV light for 24 hours, limit sun exposure for 72 hours post
• Only clean the treated are with water for 24 hours post 
• Only apply LIFT HG a hydrogel supplied by your clinician for the next 24 hours and do not apply makeup or regular skin care productsto the treatment area until after this time.
• Apply Rescue Calming Complex, as supplied by your clinician, on day two and three before applying other skin care products.
• Avoid using active skin care products i.e. retinoids for 1 week post treatment
